#1 Dayton vs. #16 Boston University

#8 Colorado vs. #9 Florida
The Gators almost reach the century mark as they clinch the 22 point win. They had all 5 starters in double figures and shot 60.9% from 3. They will be a tough out for Dayton in the Round of 32.
#5 Butler vs. #12 Richmond
Butler and Richmond go toe to toe for the full 40 minutes. The Bulldogs pull it out late on two key 3’s from Baldwin with a minute to play. He finishes with 26 points and going 5-5 from deep.
#4 Maryland vs. #13 Akron
Maryland is in control from start to finish. Smith leads the Terrapins with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and goes 12-18 from the field. Maryland will face off with Butler in the Round of 32.
#3 Villanova vs. #14 Hofstra
We have another 14 seed upset! Hofstra completes the upset against 3 seed Villanova 90-88. Buie makes the winning 3 in the left corner with 25 seconds to go to put the Pride on top for good.
#6 Penn State vs. #11 North Carolina State
The run for the Wolfpack continues as they defeat Penn State 87-80. They have 4 starters in double figures with Daniels leading the way with 19 points. NC State will play Hofstra in the Round of 32.
#7 West Virginia vs. #10 Utah State
Utah State gets the win 81-63 over West Virginia. They were in control for most of the game, pulling away in the 2nd Half. Queta was a force for the Aggies with 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
#2 Florida State vs. #15 Northern Kentucky
The Seminoles escape with a 1 point win over Northern Kentucky. The 2 seed was in a fight the whole games, only pulling ahead late with a tip in from Vassell with 6 seconds to go. The Seminoles don’t get a breather however, having to face Utah State next.
