Friday September 20th Slate

We have 3 games tonight in College Football!

Stanford (1-1) at Syracuse (2-0) – 7:30 PM ESPN

Stanford plays in it’s first official ACC game Friday night as they travel across the country to play Syracuse. The Orange are 2-0 and already have a win in the ACC after defeating Georgia Tech 31-28 two weeks ago. The question is how the Cardinal will handle an underrated tough environment. Syracuse has shown they can score early into this season and Kyle McCord has been great behind center.

Line: Syracuse -8.5

#24 Illinois (3-0) at #22 Nebraska (3-0) 8:00 PM FOX

We have a ranked on ranked matchup Friday as Illinois travels to Lincoln, NE to take on the Huskers. Illinois has already beaten on ranked team this year (#19 Kansas 23-17), but that was at home. Nebraska won a rival game last week with Colorado and they look to build on that momentum tonight. Illinois has given up only 8.67 points per game while the Nebraska offense has been scoring an average of 34 points.

Line: Nebraska -7.5

San Jose State (3-0) at Washington State (3-0) 10:00 PM The CW

In the Friday nightcap, we have two undefeated teams facing off on the West Coast. In this “PAC-12 After Dark” game, unbeaten San Jose State has their toughest matchup of the season so far. Washington State is coming off of a win on the road against rival Washington. Emmett Brown for SJST has 9 touchdowns on the young season, but this will be a new test. The Cougars score 43.7 points per game themselves so this has a chance to be a high score game.

Line: Washington State -14
